Hosea Initiative believes children “are a GIFT from the Lord” (Ps 127:3-5), sent from God’s heart to bless the community of families. God’s answer to society’s current problems, His purpose and plan for peace in the world includes LIFE, not only life on earth, but eternal life won for us in Jesus Christ. Hosea suggests to you this mental paradigm shift:

If we start there, then humanity’s job is to courageously protect each life as SACRED, and cherish it as WORTHY. Hosea’s unique, pro-life charism is rooted in God’s initiative given in prayer to Terry Beatley, Hosea’s President and Founder.

In an all-night prayer vigil for life, Terry received from the Lord this direction, “Go and interview Dr. Bernard Nathanson.”

Dr. Bernard Nathanson, once dubbed America’s ‘Abortion King’ for his role in 75,000 abortions, experienced a life-changing awakening that transformed his heart and mind. In 1973, real-time ultrasound technology allowed him to see for the first time a pre-born child in utero. He recognized the child as a human life and his ‘second patient’, demanding his physician’s skill to advance its health and protect its life, not end it.

This profound revelation marked the beginning of his journey turning away from ‘Abortion King’ to Courageous Pro-life Warrior. His final message given to Terry for America is direct and clear: “Teach the strategy of how I deceived America, but also deliver this special message: Tell America that the co-founder of NARAL says to love one another. Abortion is not love. STOP THE KILLING! The world needs more love. I’m all about love now.”
