BECOMING A WITNESS FOR LIFE High School Curriculum (Catholic Version)

Authored by Andrea DelVecchio, a Master of Arts in Curriculum Development, Becoming a Witness for Life (Catholic Version) is a 4-unit, 60-page, non-consumable (reusable) Teacher’s Guide for high school students.  It explores the cultural influences, history and worldviews which have devalued human life, and integrates the life and legacy of Dr. Bernard Nathanson and his historical impact on current worldview.
The four units include:
  • The Culture: How culture influences student thinking and behavior
  • Worldview: Understanding how worldview influences the value placed on human life
  • God’s Law vs. Man’s Law: Understanding the parameters of justice and injustice with regard to abortion
  • Witness: Understand how the love and mercy of Jesus Christ is a catalyst for becoming a faithful witness for life
Appendix materials include printable worksheets supporting each lesson. The study course references several chapters from What If We’ve Been Wrong?, written by Terry Beatley.  Great for home school or traditional classroom settings.
Catholic* and Protestant High School versions are available.  Please indicate preference.
